Preorder Policy

We offer customers the opportunity to reserve products that are not yet released (preorders). Below are the terms and procedures for pre-ordered and backordered items:

Payment: When you place a preorder, payment is collected in full at checkout to secure your reservation. This guarantees that the item is reserved for you once it becomes available. (If we are ultimately unable to fulfill the item, you will, of course, receive a full refund.)

Shipping Timeline: The product page for a preorder item will display an Estimated Shipping Date or release date as provided by the manufacturer/label. Please note that this date is subject to change – manufacturers or distributors may delay releases, change release dates, or experience production delays.

If the release date changes, we will update the information on our site and do our best to notify you via email. Once the preorder item arrives at our warehouse, we will process and ship your order within 1–2 business days. You will receive a shipping confirmation and tracking at that time.

Combined Orders (In-Stock and Preorder): If your order contains both in-stock items and preorder items, we will ship the entire order together once all items are in stock. We do not automatically split ship in-stock items earlier, in order to save you shipping costs and ensure you receive your complete order in one package.

If you do not want to wait for the preorder item to release and you'd prefer to get in-stock items sooner, we recommend placing a separate order for those in-stock items. That way, the in-stock products will ship immediately on their own, and your preorder will ship later when available.

Release Date Changes: We have no control over manufacturer release dates, which can shift. We appreciate your understanding and patience in such cases. We always aim to ship preorders within 1–2 days after we receive the stock. If a release is significantly delayed or canceled by the publisher/label, we will notify you via email as soon as we have that information.

Order Changes & Cancellations: Until your preorder ships, your order is fully in your control. You can cancel your order or remove a preorder item by logging into your account (using the email from checkout) and submitting your request there. For any other change — such as updating your shipping address, adding items, or changing your shipping method — contact our support team at support@arclineusa.com, through the contact form, or via the Chat button on our site, and we'll get back to you within 24 hours. Cancellations receive a full refund to your original payment method, provided the item hasn't already shipped. No cancellation fees apply. We want you to feel comfortable preordering, and we understand circumstances or preferences can change.

If a preorder item becomes unavailable due to circumstances beyond our control (for example, the manufacturer cancels the production or we do not receive the expected stock), we will inform you and automatically refund your purchase in full. In some cases (such as limited editions), we might offer you the option to keep the order open if a second pressing or restock is expected; however, this is up to you – you will always have the option to cancel for a refund if you'd rather not wait.

Shipping of Preorders: Preorders will be shipped via the shipping method selected at checkout. The shipping transit time you chose (e.g. Economy (USPS Media Mail), Standard (UPS Ground), etc.) begins once the item is shipped, not from the date of order.

For example, if you selected 2nd Day Air for a preorder, we will ship it by 2nd Day Air when the item is in stock – it will then arrive in 1–2 business days after that shipment. Keep in mind our standard free shipping over $100 policy also applies to preorders. If your combined order total is over $100, and you selected Economy shipping, your order (when it ships) will ship free.

Returns of Preordered Items: Once a preordered item has shipped to you, it falls under our normal 30-day return policy. To request a return, log into your account and submit a return request there. There are no special return restrictions on preorders unless otherwise noted on the product page. In rare cases, certain exclusive or limited-release preorder items may be marked as final sale (non-returnable) due to their limited nature – if so, we will clearly communicate that on the product page before you purchase.
