Description

Created before the final film score, the Castle in the Sky Image Album captures Joe Hisaishi’s earliest musical vision for Laputa. Based on conceptual direction from Hayao Miyazaki and Isao Takahata, this album explores the emotional and fantastical world of the film in its formative stage. Lighter, more exploratory, and deeply melodic, the image album offers alternate arrangements and thematic sketches that would later evolve into the finished soundtrack. It stands as both a companion piece and a fascinating glimpse into the creative process behind one of Studio Ghibli’s most beloved adventures.

The vinyls are beautiful and well produced! Each main game has their own folder for easy recognition. I also have to take time to shoutout Arclineusa for great customer support. My carrier gave my package to someone else even though the package needed to be signed away. I told Arcline the situation and even though the package was technically delivered, customer support took the time to quickly give me excellent pointers on what to do, to get my carrier to retrieve and correctly deliver the package to me.
