Originally assembled in 1982 under Yamashita's own supervision, Greatest Hits! Of Tatsuro Yamashita remains the sole official best-of from his RCA/AIR years. The set pulls signature city pop, funk, and AOR sides from his early catalog into one tight listening sequence - a clear entry point for the era that defined his sound.
This 2023 limited Japanese reissue arrives as a single 180g black LP with fresh remastering and vinyl cutting as part of the RCA/AIR YEARS Vinyl Collection. Twelve cuts include staples such as Ride On Time (Single Version), Loveland, Island, Funky Flushin', and Bomber, spanning mid-70s through early-80s material on one record.
