Description
Description
Protect your vinyl where it matters most: the grooves. Mobile Fidelity Original Master Record Inner Sleeves are the industry standard for audiophile record storage, trusted for more than 40 years. Each sleeve is crafted from three layers: a paper sheet sandwiched between two sheets of high-density polyethylene (HDPE), with a translucent HDPE front. This design provides the best combination of rigid support, anti-static properties, and scratch-free handling.
Frequently imitated but never duplicated, these are the same premium inner sleeves Mobile Fidelity has used in their world-famous audiophile LPs for decades. Essential for any collection, each pack contains 50 inner sleeves.

Frequently asked questions
FAQ
Can accessories improve sound quality?
Indirectly, yes. While sleeves won’t change the sound, cleaning tools and anti-static solutions reduce pops, crackles, and wear on your stylus, giving you clearer playback and longer equipment life.
Why should I use record sleeves and accessories?
Vinyl records are delicate. Dust, fingerprints, and sunlight can cause permanent damage, leading to pops, clicks, and sound degradation. Accessories like inner and outer sleeves, cleaning kits, and storage solutions protect your records so they last a lifetime. Think of them as insurance for your collection.
Do I really need outer sleeves for my records?
Yes. Outer sleeves protect record jackets from shelf wear, ring wear, scratches, and dust. They keep artwork in pristine condition and are especially important for collectors who want to preserve limited editions or resale value.
What about inner sleeves - why upgrade from the paper ones?
Most new records come with standard paper sleeves, which can scratch vinyl over time. Archival-grade inner sleeves are anti-static and polyethylene-lined, reducing static build-up and protecting the grooves during storage and playback.
How should I clean my vinyl records?
Always handle records by the edges or label, never the grooves. Use a carbon fiber brush before each play to remove surface dust. For deeper cleaning, use a record cleaning solution or machine with microfiber cloths - never household cleaners, which can damage vinyl.
What’s the best way to store vinyl records?
Store records vertically, like books, not stacked flat - stacking can warp them. Keep them in a cool, dry place away from direct sunlight and extreme heat or humidity. Proper shelving with support dividers helps prevent leaning and warping.
How often should I replace record sleeves?
If sleeves are torn, dusty, or causing static, it’s time to replace them. Collectors often replace factory sleeves immediately with archival ones for long-term storage.
