Frequently asked questions

FAQ

Are these releases officially licensed?

Absolutely! All the music from our distribution partners comes with official licensing. Royalty from each your purchase on our website goes directly to the right owners, because we support the artists and their hard work. And we stand firmly against bootlegging and counterfeiting.

Is the vinyl color guaranteed?

Due to the nature of vinyl production, only releases with black vinyl can be guaranteed. As for colored or splatter releases actual vinyl record color may look a bit different since we use mock ups on the website. However, on the other hand, each of these records is unique and one of a kind.

What is a "pre-orders"?

When a product is labeled as "Pre-Order," it indicates that the item is currently in production and will be shipped at a later date. You can always find the estimated shipping timelines in the product description, just below the "Preorder" button. Keep in mind that some records may have limited Pre-Order availability and could sell out before they officially arrive in stock.

If your order contains both in-stock and pre-order items, your order will be split into two shipments: the in-stock product(s) will ship immediately, and the pre-ordered item(s) will ship within the shipping window provided under the "Estimated Shipping Date."

Why there only "estimated shipping date"?

We usually receiving "estimated shipping date" from various suppliers and labels, because sometimes there is delays which beyond our or our partners control. We strive to keep these estimated dates as current as possible, but please remember that they are always approximations and not guaranteed delivery timelines.

What does Q1, Q2, Q3, and Q4 mean?

Q1, Q2, Q3, and Q4 refer to the four quarters of the year. We use this quarterly format to estimate release timeframes because vinyl production involves many variables -manufacturing schedules, shipping logistics, and quality control can all affect timing.

When we list a release as “Q4 2024 (November)”, it means we aim for a November release but leave room for potential delays. This approach helps set realistic expectations while keeping you informed.

Can I return a vinyl record if I don’t like it?

We got you covered in this one! If you’re not satisfied with your purchase, you can return it within 30 days for a full refund, provided it’s in its original condition.

Must have for music and lotr fans!

I'm in love with this book. It’s elegant and the artwork is gorgeous. I really appreciate how the melodies are written in music notation—if you read music, you’ll know exactly which piece they’re referencing. Highly recommend for any LOTR soundtrack fan, no matter your theory background. Hope this author keeps writing!

    Fabulous - especially for musicians!!

This book is fantastic. As a professional musician, I rarely find books offering real insight into composing for film. Most are locked away or overly focused on minor details. This one covers thematic structure and orchestration clearly, with personal stories from the composer’s process. The author’s connection to the composer really adds value.
