Description

Johan Lenox's original score for Charlie Polinger's The Plague channels the film's primal, Lord of the Flies - like tension through an organic palette of percussion, solo strings, and densely layered vocals. Premiering at the Cannes Film Festival to an 11-minute standing ovation, the thriller follows a socially anxious twelve-year-old at an all-boys water polo camp as a cruel tradition blurs the line between ritual and reality. Lenox's music mirrors that escalating unease, balancing vulnerability with an ever-present sense of menace across nineteen cues.

This Waxwork Records edition presses the complete score on Pool Water Blue colored vinyl and houses it in a heavyweight jacket with a matte satin finish.
