This is Wizardry the way it should feel on a turntable: ancient, mysterious, and quietly intimidating. Winifred Phillips’ score doesn’t lean on generic “fantasy orchestra” shortcuts - it’s built from authentic period instruments pulled from real musical history, with textures you can practically touch: wiry strings from gitterns and nyckelharpas, earthy dulcimers, and eerie breathy tones from bone flutes. The result is a soundtrack that feels like a living artifact, perfectly matched to the dungeon-crawl tension of Proving Grounds.
For collectors, the package is as deliberate as the music: black vinyl, a removable red obi strip, and premium hotfoil cover treatment that looks sharp on the shelf. And the real vinyl flex is the two exclusive choral versions of “Secret Doors” and “Masters of Wizardry” - adding extra weight and ritual to themes that already feel legendary.

Amazing!
I ordered this as a birthday gift for my brother, who’s a huge Plants vs. Zombies fan, and I'm sure he'll love it! It came securely packaged and even arrived on a rainy day with everything inside safe and dry. The only confusing part was that there was a letter for a leadership seminar included inside. I’m assuming it was just packed by mistake (included a picture). No big deal though, since what I ordered was perfect! 10/10 would order from here again!

I just want to say that Arcline is amazing. Their packaging is really nice and keeps the record safe during shipping. My item arrived early, but it was missing one of the small collectible pieces. They were so lovely in all of their emails to me, and responded super fast. They were able to send me the replacement piece very quickly as well. I will definitely buy more records from them!
