Description

Dolphin Park is a funk and jazz-fusion tribute to the soundtrack of Wave Race 64, one of the standout racing games on the Nintendo 64. Arranged and performed under Erek Ladd's Retro Game Remix project, it reworks the game's cool, funky themes into full-band arrangements shaped by Japanese jazz fusion, with saxophone, guitars, slap bass and plenty of groove.

The album collects nine tracks, including two original songs - Victory! and Seafoam Shoreline - written in the spirit of the source material. Erek Ladd handles guitar, bass, drums and production, joined by a lineup of eight musicians on keys, flute and saxophone. This pressing comes on Ocean Blue vinyl limited to 500 copies, with cover art by Pukarichan.
