Description

Q3 2026(September)

The first-ever official reissue of Hiroshi Yoshimura’s pioneering 1986 ambient work Surround finally arrives, lovingly remastered and faithfully presented. Commissioned by home builder Misawa Homes as a sonic “amenity” for living spaces, Surround was designed as environmental music: gentle, airy, and unobtrusive, meant to blend seamlessly into daily life.

Yoshimura envisioned the album as being part of the same sonic landscape as footsteps, the hum of an air conditioner, or the clanging of a spoon inside a coffee cup. The result is a mesmerizing cycle of subtle melodies and textures that transform rooms into living soundscapes. Reissued with full cooperation from Yoshimura’s estate, this edition includes new liner notes, English translations of Yoshimura’s writings, and high-quality remastering by John Baldwin.

Delivered early than expected, but a deeply welcomed surprised! I absolutely love Persona 3 Portable and the art on this thing is soooo pretty! Had a little problem/question with shipping at first, so messaged support and, literally, a minute later they answered back and were super nice! Would definitely recommend any Persona fan to buy this, or especially buy from this great little store. (also bought p4 Megamix and it's great too, check it out!)
