Description
Description
Touch gathers a focused selection of 1970s productions by Japanese composer and arranger Yuji Ohno, drawn from the Nippon Columbia archives with his approval. The set moves between jazz vocals, space funk, and disco-leaning instrumentals - the Ohno sound that linked club floors with anime score work for Lupin III and Captain Future.
Remastered in Tokyo by Nippon Columbia, this single-LP black vinyl edition includes liner notes by Nick Luscombe in conversation with Ohno and cover art by Optigram's Manuel Sepulveda. Featured performances include Nanako Sato, Hatsumi Shibata, Ken Tanaka, Ann Young, Mieko Hirota, You & The Explosion Band, Galaxy, and Electric Keyboard Orchestra.
