Description
Description
T-WAVE catches Masayoshi Takanaka at peak summertime momentum - bright, funky, and effortlessly slick, with that signature guitar tone that feels like sunlight reflecting off the ocean. Originally released June 1, 1980, this is Takanaka’s sixth studio album and one of the cleanest “put it on and let it ride” listens in Japanese fusion: crisp rhythms, airy melodies, and solos that smile without ever showing off too hard.
This limited clear orange 180g pressing is newly remastered from the original master tapes using high-resolution audio, then cut at Abbey Road Studios in London by Alex Wharton. From the instant lift of “EARLY BIRD” to the iconic “MY SECRET BEACH,” it’s pure coastal groove - made even better with an audiophile-grade vinyl cut that gives the low end more body and the guitar more sparkle.
