Description

This is preorder. Estimated shipping date: Q3 2026 (August)

An Insatiable High is one of the purest “sunny fusion” statements of the late 70s - Takanaka at full melodic confidence, with West Coast session royalty giving the grooves real muscle. Originally released in 1977, it’s a record that floats between slick jazz-funk, beachy guitar bliss, and tighter, more rhythmic fusion cuts, all anchored by Takanaka’s unmistakable tone. This limited Japan import reissue is the premium way to own it: 180g clear yellow vinyl, freshly remastered and cut at Abbey Road by Alex Wharton from the original master tapes. If you collect Japanese fusion, this is a cornerstone title that still sounds ridiculously alive.
