Description

Hydeout Productions 2nd Collection finds Nujabes shaping a warm, atmospheric blend of hip-hop and downtempo - dusty beats, jazzy textures and melodies that drift with a late-night calm. Originally released in 2007 on Hydeout Productions, it works as both a personal statement and a collaborative snapshot, featuring voices like Pase Rock, Uyama Hiroto and Shing02 - it still carries that same introspective, floating energy.

As Nujabes’ final album before his passing in 2010 it holds a special weight, capturing the essence of his sound at its most refined and emotional. With cover artwork by Cheryl D. McClure, the release feels cohesive from sound to visuals - a perfect entry point into his world, where mellow grooves, poetic flows and soft jazz influences come together in a timeless, deeply human way.
